“Storytelling, Propaganda, and the Crisis of Western Liberalism” Workshop on May 5
The Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA) is pleased to invite you to take part in a special workshop titled: “Storytelling, Propaganda, and the Crisis of Western Liberalism”, which will take place on May 5th, at 17.00 Warsaw time (CET). The workshop will be conducted by Brian Whitmore – a non-resident Senior Fellow with The Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington.
The ongoing pandemic, vaccine diplomacy, debates, over 5G and what seems like a constant state encroachment on the internet have been challenging the wider liberal order. In this talk, Brian Whitmore will lay out the case for how the liberal order must become more assertive and fight back against disinformation and other challenges.
During the workshop participants will also get a basic introduction to WEASA. So if you have applied or interested in applying, you should definitely join us.
The workshop is free and will be conducted on Zoom (and streamed also via Facebook).
